This is the door to have if you live in a very hot or very cold climate. The double flap design keeps out the hot and cold weather and keeps your home heat or air conditioning from escaping.

Using the energy efficient Ruff Weather frame and flap design the Protector series lock-out slide offers an important Exclusive accessory. The patented unit has an on/off switch to activate the audible ALARM to alert you that the interior slide has been even just partially removed. This is important for those who wish to know immediately that there is an attempt to exit as well as enter the pet door. This feature works when installed in doors or walls.

HELPFUL TIP!
If you are unsure of how to measure your pet, or if your pet refuses to disclose its' weight, you might want to try the following;
Get a large piece of cardboard and cut an opening the size of the flap.
See if your pet is able to get through this opening. If you get the width right. you will be able to adjust the height when you install the door.
