What size flap do I need for my dog or cat?

What is the "rise"?

The rise is the distance from the floor to the bottom of the flap or the height that your pet steps over. The bigger the flap, the higher the rise is made in pet patio doors.

Can I change the rise on my door?

Yes, you can have the rise customized on most patio doors for an additional $59. You will have to email me with the request at terrynscv@aol.com and I will send you an invoice for the full amount of the door with a customized rise.

How wide are the pet patio doors?

The width of the patio doors are about four inches wider than the flap.

How high are the sash window doors?

The height of the sash window doors are about six inches higher than the flap?

Will I still be able to use my patio door after I install a pet patio panel?

It depends on the size of your patio door and the size of the panel you install in your door. Make sure that you will still have enough room to open your door before purchasing by opening the door the width of the panel you plan to purchase and see how much room is left to go in and out. The panel on a super large pet patio door is about 19" wide so it's important to do this before purchasing.

Will I still have the use of my patio door lock after installing my pet patio door panel?

You won't be able to use the lock on your door, but there are several alternatives. The patio doors come with a type of device that installs on the bottom of the sliding door that holds the door in place from the inside. You can also use a wooden dowel placed on the bottom of the door to hold the door in place. I also sell a type of lock that is placed on the door with suction cups, that prevents the door from being opened.

Will I be able to lock my window after installing my window sash pet door?

The window sash pet doors come with a pin lock that can be installed in a wood framed window. I also sell a type of lock that is placed on the door with suction cups, that prevents the door from being opened.

What are your shipping costs?

Most of my items are free shipping to the lower 48 states. Please email me at terrynscv@aol.com for the cost of shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or a non-US destination.

Do you ship internationally?

I ship small doors to most countries throughout the world. Except for Canada, the shipping costs on a patio door can be more than the door itself because of the weight and height. I shipped a super large Ruff Weather once to Russia and the shipping was $125.

Can I return my purchase for any reason?
